So we can understand your situation
For your 15-Minute Introdcutory Call
(and decide if it makes sense to go deeper)
Note: This call is a short diagnostic. If it looks like there’s real planning value, we’ll suggest a deeper next step — but the call itself is designed to be useful on its own.
You’ve just taken one of the most important steps you can take with your retirement situation — deciding to get clarity.
Most people arrive at this stage of life with a number in their head, and a quiet unease in their gut.
They’ve saved diligently. They’ve made good decisions. But when it comes to answering the question “Am I actually ready?” — the answer is that they’re not quite sure.
That uncertainty isn’t a failure. It’s a signal. And it’s exactly why you’re here.
At Rubino & Liang, we don’t believe in generic advice dressed up to look personal. We believe that your retirement plan should be built around your life — your spending, your income, your goals, and the irreversible decisions that sit between you and the retirement you’ve worked toward.
The conversation you’ve booked is the first step in a process we’ve spent years refining. Here’s what that process looks like — and what you can expect from us every step of the way.
Your introductory call isn’t a sales pitch. It’s a conversation.
We want to understand where you are right now, where you want to go, and what’s keeping you from feeling fully confident about retirement. Before we start building our customized retirement plans, we ask questions. Real ones. The kind most advisors skip.
What does your ideal retirement actually look like? What keeps you up at night? What decisions feel most uncertain right now?
Your answers shape everything that follows.
Most people focus on the wrong number. They chase a portfolio balance — $1M, $1.5M, $2M — without ever stopping to ask what that number needs to do.
After your introductory call, we’ll follow up with a personalized questionnaire to confirm your assets, your income timeline, and certain expenses.
We use this information to help calculate the number that actually matters to help build your personalized retirement plan. We call this number your Portfolio Income Needs — or your PIN.
Your PIN is simple: it’s the annual income your portfolio needs to generate after accounting for Social Security, pensions, and any other guaranteed sources. It’s the gap your investments have to close. And once you know it, retirement stops feeling like a guessing game.
Once we understand your PIN, we look at your full picture — your assets (and how they are allocated), your income timeline, your tax exposure, your risk, and more.
Then, we build a plan that works in today’s world.
The old tools weren’t built for this. A retirement plan is not a document you create once and file away.
Life changes. Markets shift. Tax rules evolve. The strategies that works for you at age 62 may look different at age 67.
That’s why our work together is designed for a long-term relationship — a continuous rhythm of:
Retirement isn’t a finish line. It’s a new phase of life that deserves the same rigor and attention your career did — just applied differently.
At every stage of the 365 Retirement Plan Process, you’ll know exactly where you stand, why we are recommending what we’re recommending, and what the alternatives are.
We don’t believe in complexity for its own sake. We don’t use jargon to create dependence. And we don’t make recommendations that serve us before they serve you.
What you’ll get from Rubino & Liang Wealth Partners is a straight answer, a clear plan, and a team that treats your retirement with the seriousness it deserves.
We look forward to the conversation.
